I tried my best to spend as much time as possible with Thomas this summer. Especially those last few weeks when I realized he was going to be gone from 7:10 am-2:45 pm Monday through Friday! Eek! Gulp! The first week was very strange for Lily and me, and exhausting but fun for Thomas. It helped a lot that he was returning to the same classroom he had for 4K. We will see how it goes when he has to switch to his 1st-3rd grade class next year.
Thomas was not used to waking up before the sun, but the excitement of the first day made it tolerable for him. Oh, and his super awesome robot alarm clock was a plus!
