St. Patrick's Day

After a fun day at Kindermusik, with a lot of Irish tunes involved, the kids and I headed home to try to find something "green" to do. We ended up with a tube of sugar cookie dough, white icing, and green food coloring. Here are the amazing results....




Lily spent a little time decorating her cookies, then decided she would just eat them plain instead. That's my girl!




Thomas helped slice the dough and both kids took turns putting them on the baking sheet. They were practically a blob by the end of their baking time...perfect!
Thomas was convinced some of the cookies looked like elephants, turtles, and other animals. My jaded eyes only saw sugar!
