We took the kids to the first of four member nights at the zoo in Columbia.
Lily wanted to wear a tutu for the event....and wanted to push the stroller instead of ride in it. I was pretty sure that would change by the end of the night.
Of course, we thought our elephant bow made by Talitha was perfect for the night!
They fed the gorillas for us. It was amazing to see them stand up, beat their chests, and run down the hill to grab some food. We also found it funny that they preferred some vegetables over others.
Somehow, this was the first time in four years that we noticed the lemurs.
We were allowed behind the bear cave and the elephant hideout. The bears are huge! So are the elephants. We asked Lily what else we saw later, and her answer was "elephant poop"! I guess it is pretty hard to miss.

I have to admit that it was fun to ride the carousel and not be in charge of the camera or making sure Lily wasn't going to fall.
