Day 3 at the beach was July 4th. We took the kids to the beach (without the boat!) and the water park again. We made sure to be on the beach at 1 pm for the F-16 flyover along the SC coast. It was fun, and much quieter than the flyovers at the football games.
They were excited to fit in the wagon since we took much less stuff this day.

Steve and Debbie surprised the kids with a trip to Pirates Voyage (formerly Dixie Stampede)! They were so excited, and had a great time. The acrobatic parts were amazing, and we all loved the sea lions. I'm amazed by how much food they give you! The kids really liked the pirate themes. We had to remind them to eat, because they were so enthralled with the show.
After the pirate show and a little down time, we headed to Barefoot Landing to stake out a good place to watch the fireworks. We found two benches right under the fireworks!! Loud, but fun. While we were waiting for the show, Thomas decided-all on his own-that he wanted to ride the mechanical bull. :-O
He did great!! Sorry there are so many pictures, but I love his face in each of them.
Not to be outdone, Miss Priss decided she needed to ride the carousel with Daddy. She was so cute. It cracks us up that she feels the need to raise her hands on all rides now that she has discovered roller coasters.
